The Paramount Pictures feature film "Star Trek 4" is now re-casting the lead roles of Captain James Kirk and his father George Kirk, in a time-traveling adventure. Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth were scheduled to portray those roles, however due to a dispute in contract negotiations, both actors have exited the project. Additional lead and supporting roles are being cast, both male and female.
